The educational, developmental, social, and institutional experiences people carry with them do not simply disappear when they enter the workplace.
At HopeMore International does not arrive with a predetermined answer. We begin by understanding the organization, researching the conditions affecting its people and systems, and helping leaders examine possible paths forward.
HopeMore discovers, researches, and advises; the organization leads.

HopeMore International People Management Consultant’s Philosophy
HopeMore believes effective consulting begins by listening and understanding each organization's unique context, mission, goals, and challenges. We then examine relevant research and evidence to develop possible paths forward, explain the implications of each option, and present actionable strategies aligned with the organization's mission. Rather than prescribing a single path, we believe organizational leadership should retain ownership of the decisions that shape its future.
HopeMore advises; the organization leads.
Where Are They Now? | From Education to the Workforce
How might the workplace disruptions, social, educational, and developmental experiences during the COVID-19 era continue to influence the attitudes, expectations, preparedness, and workplace behaviors of emerging generations?
The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic did not end when workers and students returned to school.
Each person’s experienced the pandemic differently based on family circumstances, workplace and instructional support, technology access, and learning opportunities.
As young adults continue progressing through the workforce, leaders have an opportunity—and a responsibility—to better understand these long-term effects.
HopeMore International encourages organizations to examine young adults success from a longitudinal perspective while focusing on understanding, support, and intentional institutional improvement rather than blame.
HopeMore International encourages employers and organizational leaders to consider where emerging members of the workforce were educationally and developmentally during the COVID-19 era. The experiences of this period varied considerably, and their long-term effects should not be presumed. However, understanding an employee's educational context during this period may provide one additional lens through which leaders can explore workforce preparedness, development needs, communication, expectations, and workplace behavior.
The Where Are They Now? chart provides a longitudinal view of where today's students and emerging young adults were in their educational journeys during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is not intended to explain an individual's behavior, ability, or workplace performance. Rather, it provides historical context that may help organizational leaders ask better questions when examining workforce challenges, employee development needs, and changing workplace expectations.
However, adjustments are needed for those students that repeated a grade.

How do leaders intentionally create organizations that are prepared before something goes wrong?
HopeMore International People Management Consultants helps organizational leaders examine safety procedures, emergency preparedness, communication systems, employee responsibilities, and organizational readiness. Through research-informed analysis and practical planning, we help organizations identify gaps, strengthen procedures, clarify roles, and develop strategies that support effective response and organizational resilience. This work is informed by HopeMore's broader approach to organizational preparedness, including the development of a comprehensive Fire Safety Procedures Action Plan during doctoral studies in 2017.
The goal is not simply to have procedures on paper, but to help create an organization in which people understand how to respond when those procedures matter most.
-
Strong organizations need more than people to fill positions; they need intentional strategies for attracting, developing, supporting, and retaining the people who help advance the organization's mission.
HopeMore works with organizational leaders to examine workforce needs, talent-management practices, recruitment and onboarding processes, employee development, retention, succession planning, and leadership pipelines. We use organizational context, relevant evidence, and workforce information to help leaders identify gaps and develop practical, mission-aligned options for strengthening their people strategy.
The goal is to build a people strategy that helps the organization meet today's workforce needs while intentionally developing the talent and leadership capacity it will need tomorrow.
-
Compensation and benefits communicate more than what an organization pays; these practices can influence recruitment, retention, employee perceptions, internal equity, and organizational sustainability.
HopeMore helps leaders examine existing compensation and benefits practices in relation to organizational goals, workforce needs, internal structures, and relevant market information. Where opportunities for improvement are identified, we research possible approaches and present practical options and their implications so organizational leaders can determine the direction that best supports their people and mission.
How can your compensation and benefits practices support your people while remaining aligned with your organization's mission, priorities, and long-term sustainability?
-
Clear, thoughtfully developed policies help organizations establish expectations, promote consistency, support accountability, and reduce organizational risk.
HopeMore works with leaders to review existing people-management policies, procedures, employee handbooks, documentation practices, and areas of organizational concern. We help identify gaps, research relevant requirements and best practices, and develop or strengthen policies and procedures that align with the organization's mission, operations, and workforce needs.
The goal is to develop clear, practical policies that help people understand expectations while supporting consistency, accountability, and responsible organizational decision-making.
When matters require legal interpretation or legal advice, HopeMore encourages organizations to consult qualified legal counsel.
-
Performance improves when people understand what is expected, receive meaningful feedback, and have opportunities to develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
HopeMore helps organizations examine performance-management systems, employee development needs, feedback practices, leadership expectations, and professional learning opportunities. Based on identified needs, we can develop customized training, coaching, performance-support resources, and improvement strategies designed to strengthen individual capability while supporting organizational goals.
The objective is not simply to evaluate performance, but to intentionally create conditions that support improved performance.
-
Technology should support effective people-management systems rather than create additional complexity.
HopeMore helps organizations examine how HR technology, workflows, and information systems support—or hinder—recruitment, onboarding, employee records, communication, performance management, training, and other people processes. We can help leaders identify process gaps, clarify organizational needs, evaluate opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies for more effective use or selection of HR technology.
How can technology make your people-management systems more effective, efficient, and supportive of the people who actually use them?
-
Organizational challenges are rarely isolated; leadership, systems, structure, communication, culture, and people often influence one another.
HopeMore applies organizational development principles to help leaders examine how these interconnected conditions affect organizational effectiveness. Through discovery, research, analysis, collaborative planning, and development initiatives, we help organizations identify underlying challenges, strengthen systems and leadership capacity, improve communication and alignment, and develop sustainable paths toward organizational improvement.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we work with organizations to understand and address the conditions contributing to them.
-
Organizational culture is shaped by what people experience repeatedly—not simply by what an organization says it values.
HopeMore helps leaders understand their existing culture and intentionally strengthen the behaviors, systems, leadership practices, communication patterns, and working relationships needed to support organizational goals and create conditions where people thrive.
Culture Change may include, but is not limited to:
Psychological Safety
Trust
Accountability
Employee Empowerment
Leadership Behavior
Supervisor/Employee Relationships
Communication
How do you want to transform your organization?
-
Data becomes valuable when it helps leaders ask better questions, understand organizational conditions, evaluate possible paths forward, and measure whether change is actually working.
HopeMore helps organizations identify meaningful information to collect, examine existing data, develop practical methods for gathering additional evidence, and translate findings into actionable organizational insight. Depending on the engagement, this may include surveys, interviews, observations, organizational metrics, employee feedback, or other relevant sources of information.
We use data not simply to describe where an organization is, but to help leaders make informed decisions about where it should go next.
